Delivery:
11.1 Delivery is charged at just £2.95 no matter what order and will be added when you check out. 11.2 Delivery times vary depending on what time the order reaches us and the next available posting date. We aim to deliver within 1-3 working days for in stock items. If an item is out of stock, we will contact you immediately to notify you of an expected delivery date or offer a refund. For deliveries coming from outside the UK (see item description) please allow an additional 10-14 working days. do not fall under the UK distance selling legislation and once we process your order, your order cannot be cancelled or returned 11.2a Important note for any items ordered that are shipped directly to you from our partners outside the EU (see item description) - We cannot take any responsibility for any import duties, customs tax or VAT charged by the courier upon delivery. We try to minimise these costs for you, although we cannot guarantee this. 11.2b Any item that is delivered directly to you from outside the EU (see item description) cannot be cancelled under any circumstances once the order status has changed to "Order Being Processed". These orders do not fall under the UK distance selling legislation and once we process your order, your order cannot be cancelled or returned to Digital Playworld. 11.3 We may use the courier service we believe to be the most reliable and effective depending on your order. Because we rely on third parties to delivery your order, we cannot be held responsible for their reliability and accuracy. 11.4 If products are returned to us as undeliverable they will be subject to an additional charge before being re-shipped. Alternatively, we may refund you the cost of the products minus the delivery charge and administration fee. 11.5 On all orders, we will collect proof of posting, or if sent via courier, we will be issued with a tracking number which you may ask for at any time. If you do not receive your order, then we will contact our courier to see what compensation is claimable (if any). If you require extra compensation then you must ask us prior to placing an order and pay the extra for this cover. 11.6 Overseas orders can be sent via Airmail, Surface Mail or International Signed For. Please note that Surface Mail can take up to 28 days for an order to reach you. 11.7 Orders sent by First Class post are unrecorded and cannot be tracked. Once they leave our warehouse then we cannot be held responsible for the order. If an order that was sent by First Class delivery goes missing then we will attempt to claim compensation from Royal Mail. If the claim is successful then we will contact you to arrange a replacement or refund. 11.8 Recorded delivery is an optional service that costs extra and must be chosen when making your order. Orders with Recorded delivery receive a tracking number which may be obtained by you at any time. Should the order go missing then we will attempt to claim compensation up to the value of £32. If you require extra insurance, then Special Delivery must be purchased at the time of making your order which can cover orders up to £500.
Returns & Refunds:
12.1 You have the right to cancel your order at any time up to the end of the seventh working day following the day on which you received the products. If you wish to cancel your order please send an email to customerservices@digitalplayworld.co.uk with details of your cancellation. You must state your name, a description of the goods and your order number and await further instructions via email before returning any items. 12.2 Any use of the goods beyond that necessary to inspect them on delivery will invalidate your right to cancel the order. If you remove any protective films/covers or if we believe items have been damaged due to lack of care by yourself then we reserve the right to refuse a refund or replacement. If damage is made when returning the goods back to us, then it is your right to seek compensation from your carrier you used. 12.3 We operate a 100% satisfaction guarantee policy which means that if you are not happy with any products bought from this website, you may return them to us within 7 days of purchase for a refund or exchange provided that the products are returned to us in their original condition and packaging. We will not offer a full refund on items returned that have clearly been used and are not in their original condition and packaging, we will charge a re-stocking fee for these items at our discretion. We also do not offer refunds on mixed lots. If you wish to return a mixed lot then we may offer a credit note at Digital Playworld discretion. 12.31 Under the Distance Selling Legislation you are allowed to open the item to inspect the goods, but NOT use them. Care must be taken to avoid damaging the packaging as you may lose your rights to return the item. The goods must be returned in their original packaging, unused, in undamaged stock condition suitable for resale. You must pay the carriage cost of returning the goods. After 3 days, exchanges or refunds will not be given. The goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt. Exchanges are offered for items that are defective when received. If for any reason our policy is not adhered to, the item will be returned back to the customer and no refund offered. 12.4 All products bought from our website are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase. If a product proves to be faulty within that period you may return it to us for a refund or exchange unless a manufacturers guarantee has been issued then you will need to contact the manufacturer. In the unlikley event of an item being faulty that was shipped to you from one of our suppliers from outside the EU (see item description), it is your responsibility to return the item back to the supplier (this includes the shipping costs back to the supplier). 12.5 If you have paid p&p on your order then we reserve the right not to refund this cost to you if you return an item, will only refund the cost of the goods to you. If the true cost of P&P exceeds the amount you paid then we will refund the amount you paid minus the amount we paid for postage and packaging. The minimum amount for postage will be £2.95 per order. 12.6 Paypal refunds can only be issued up to 60 days after the initial period. If for whatever reason, we need to refund you after the 60 days have expired then you will be responsible for Paypal's charges for receiving the money from us. 12.7 If an order or product has been returned to us that was paid for with a credit note or voucher then a refund will be issued in the form of another credit note or voucher. |
